Author Spotlight

 The Media Center Author Spotlight program highlights a popular (new or classic) author throughout the year.  The author is introduced to the class in various ways; through the author's website, the author's biography, our Author Spotlight bulletin board display, booktalks, etc.  Throughout the year, books written by the author are read to the class, and the students are encouraged to borrow books by that author.  Students will work on activites based on books by the author.
