MEET MRS. CHACON

 Meet Mrs. Chacon…

Hello! My name is Mrs. Chacon and I am your first grade teacher.  Let me tell you a little about myself!

My husband's name is Jason and we have two children, Olivia and Logan!  They are 8 and 5!  Olivia is in third grade and Logan will start kindergarten.  We will see them in the hallway!   I LOVED spending the summer with them.   They love to meet my students, so will come in and visit when they can! 

I have a twin brother, John, who is one minute older than me and a younger brother, Brian.  

I live in Hackensack now, but have lived in Maywood all of my life.  When I was a child, I attended Memorial School and Maywood Avenue School.  

I graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and a Elementary Education Teaching Degree.  I received my Masters Degree in Elementary Education and recently completed my Masters +30 degree.  This is my FIFTEENTH year teaching third grade at Memorial School.  This is my second year teaching FIRST GRADE! I love what I do!!

I enjoy decorating my house and classroom, reading, shopping, and spending time with my children!  My favorite place is the beach and I spent a lot of my summer there.  I can not wait to meet all of my new students and learn more about you all!
